Saving money on utilities is not
achieved by firing one silver At the same time, responsible citizens will want to "think green". Saving money on utilities can also have the effect of being "green-friendly" to our earth. So, both the individual focusing on savings, and the individual focusing on saving the planet, can use the same tools. We need to have a good look at the whole house. Is our money flowing to the outside through poorly constructed doors and windows? Is our insulation substandard? Is that laughing sound in the basement our 60-year-old furnace? You know, that one that takes up the space of a small car. Is our hot water tank set for 150 degrees, when 120 is plenty. There is plenty to look at.
